These two reserves have a limited roasting schedule. Anything ordered alongside Castellon Gesha & Jardines Mejorado will roast and ship with it.
It’s a special one - Many of our exotic coffees have been from farmers who have been trained by the Arcila brothers in Colombia; now we are releasing two coffees representing the very best they have to offer from their own farms!
tThe second reserve in the drop this Friday is a variety, poorly named, “Typica Mejorado.” It’s not Typica, it’s either an heirloom or mutation, but recently discovered in Colombia by farmers Felipe works with, and cupping extremely well consistently across several plantings. The farmer who discovered it defaulted to “Typica” since it’s one of the varieties traditionally thought of as the best coffees - see “Pink Bourbon” which is neither Bourbon, Nor Pink…
Castellon Gesha: A tart and juicy gesha with Strawberry Candy, Orange, and Kiwi flavor notes.
Jardines Mejorado: An Elegant reserve with White Peach, Mulberry, and intense Jasmine notes.
