Diego is a surfer living the Pura Vida, "pure life/living" lifestyle of Costa Rica in Allajuela, a small town in the hills outside San Jose. At heart he's a coffee lover like us, drawn into coffee by the thriving coffee culture in San Jose, and as he's taken over his Father's farm he converted the entire Hacienda to coffee.
Every year he has new varieties for us to try, and the first we're releasing this year is the Marsellesa variety which hails from Nicaragua. His coffees always have a Cherry Liqueur quality in the cup, and this variety specifically exhibits notes of Grape Candy, Green Apple, and Meyer Lemon as well.
