Our Moxie is a blend of Kenya coffee and Colombian coffee- the same single origins you can purchase on the website. We came up with this blend through a series of cuppings pairing coffees which have equal amounts of contrasting and complementary flavors. Colombians typically have an underlying savory sweetness; tannic or raw cacao notes are often present, and Kenyan coffees match this with complementary savory starchy sweetness. This year our Colombian and Kenyan coffees also exhibit very complementary fruit aromas and cup notes.
Moxie is a blend which has a lot of depth and sweetness, with lingering deep fruit notes and a tart acidity. Excellent as espresso and a brewed coffee!
