This is our first year buying from Nancy, giving support to a graduate of the Sol de la Mañana program, and establishing a lasting relationship.

In Brazil, the Catuai variety emerged as a hybrid between Caturra and Mundo Novo. The impetus behind this hybrid was to cultivate a plant with the flavor quality of Caturra that could also be planted closely together. The ever-growing demand for space eventually popularized Caturra. Named after the Guarani word for "small", it swiftly secured both physical and economic space in the hearts of farmers.

From a plot of land adjacent to her father Gregorio's farm, a world of opportunity has arisen for Nancy to access specialty coffee markets. This has been made possible through the unwavering support of the Sol de la Mañana program run by Agricafé, a force multiplier for coffee farmers across the region. Through tireless efforts and persistent perseverance, Nancy's reputation for producing quality coffee has earned her the trust and loyalty of coffee enthusiasts worldwide.
