Westerlies is our full city roast blend. We tend to roast exclusively in the medium to medium/light spectrum, and occasionally get requests for darker roasts. We found a coffee this year in Costa Rica which we thought would work really well in the full city spectrum from the Santa Cruz community association. It has a lot of caramel notes, which work well with the additional development and sugar browning in this roast. In addition to the Santa Cruz we currently have La Libertad from Guatemala, and Konga from Ethiopia. These add some cocoa structure and a bit of floral/fruit sweetness
You'll like this coffee if: You like darker roasts. You enjoy Islay scotch, burnt ends, and dark salted caramel.
We recommend brewing this coffee as a filter coffee.
