He embodies a deep connection to the origins of coffee, and he's "all in" on producing exceptional harvests year after year. Even though he's a large producer, he is continually looking for new ways to better his craft.

Israel Degfa showed me that passion transcends all boundaries – he is masterfully forward thinking, and he pursues excellence without any thought to alternatives. It is rare for a farmer to produce high volumes of superb Gesha, but Israel's creative processes have made this possible.
