V60-01 Dripper

The V60 is another excellent brewer from the folks at Hario Glass in Japan. We use this brewer almost exclusively on our pour over bar in our shops because of the exceptionally clean and vibrant cup it provides.

The ridges on the inside of the brewer lift the paper filter off the sides, allowing coffee to flow from all sides of the filter, instead of just the bottom. This results in a faster brewing time, which highlights the acidity and sweetness while minimizing the chance for a bitter cup. The filter is an oxygen cleansed filter, which leaves little to no paper taste, and reduces the amount of oil restricted by the filtering process.

The 01 size is best suited for a single 5-6oz cup mostly geared at tasting and dialing coffee in.
